Mt. Hood Museum Heritage Night

Dear Members and Friends,

The Museum is looking more like a upscale gift store than a museum. Every closet and storage space is full of items for our annual Heritage Night at the Museum on November 11, starting at 6:00 PM. Your Museum membership is your ticket to this evening of eating, drinking, bidding and socializing.

There will be both silent and live auctions. Items on the auction block include many cabin decor items, antiques, gift baskets, gift certificates, Mount Hood memorabilia,

and much more. Here is a short list of unique items offered: 2 nights stay in a Steiner Log Cabin, vintage braided wool area rugs by the late Jenny Welch, framed Dale Crockett photographs, vintage silk screen ski posters by Carl Reynolds, and a snowshoe coffee table.

Here are some tips for having a good time at Heritage Night: 1. Renew or purchase your Museum membership ahead of time online at mthoodmuseum.org. 2. Do not eat dinner before attending Heritage Night. 3. Bring a blank check to save time checking out after the auction.

We look forward to seeing our old and new friends at this fun event.

The Museum Board of Directors wish to announce the Museum’s 2021-23 Capital Campaign is very much an active campaign. A detailed description of the Campaign goals and donation options can be reviewed on our website. We have a few limited edition prints available to donors of $1000.00 or more. These prints are original linocut prints, signed, numbered, matted, framed and ready to hang by local artist Carrie Moore. Make a $1000.00 donation and get your print before they gone. See print below.
